Notify is distributed as a secure Google Workspace™ Add-on. You install it once, and it becomes available across all your Google Sheets™.

Access required

link Step 1: Install from Marketplace

Navigate to the official Google Workspace Marketplace™ listing.

Click Install. Start the process from the listing page.

Authorize. A permission dialog will appear. Click Continue.

Select Account. Choose the Google Account you wish to use.

Permissions

Notify requires permission to "See, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Sheets™ spreadsheets you use with this app." We use the restricted currentonly scope, meaning we cannot access any other files in your Google Drive™.

link Step 2: Launch the Add-on

Once installed, Notify lives in your Extensions menu.

menu Go to Extensions > Notify > Open Dashboard

dock_to_right The sidebar will launch on the right side of your screen

link Troubleshooting

If you don’t see the add-on immediately:

refresh Refresh the page

Google Sheets™ sometimes needs a reload to fetch new add-ons.

If you are logged into multiple Google accounts, try using an Incognito window.
